revolving-doorIn further proof that we’ll all be working for tech companies some day, New Yorker pop music critic Sasha Frere-Jones leaves for Genius, a site backed by $55M in venture funding that aims to annotate the whole world. “And I’ll be honest,” Frere-Jones told The New York Times, “I don’t want to stay up until 4 a.m. any more at shows, and you can annotate lyrics during the day.” Christopher Glazek, who recently wrote a long piece for The New York Times Magazine, already works at Genius, focusing on adding information to the politics and cultural side of the site.
